Grooming
On rare occasions, Kibbles and Clips may need to cancel appointment(s) due to weather, road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact the pet owner in advance and reschedule any affected appointment(s).
Kibbles and Clips reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the health and safety of the groomer and/or the pet. A soft muzzle may be used or services discontinued or refused if we determine that a pet presents an unsafe condition. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: behavior issues, health problems, or parasites.
If pet is hurt or becomes ill during the grooming session, Kibbles and Clips has permission to obtain immediate medical attention from a veterinarian of our choice if pet's veterinarian is not known or accessible. Pet owner agrees to pay all costs for medical treatment provided, unless illness or injury is a direct result of negligence of Kibbles and Clips.
Kibbles and Clips will not be held responsible for clipper burn and/or minor nicks resulting from grooming of matted, neglected coats or for irritation caused by removing coat from pets possessing mild to severe skin allergy, nor will we be held responsible for stressful effects grooming may have upon a geriatric pet.
Kibbles and Clips will be notified within 24 hours of any claim by owner regarding compensation for medical attention given as a result of alleged negligence. In the event of dispute over owner's claim, we will consult the attending veterinarian prior to settling any claim.
It has been our experience that when a pet is "shaved down" or "stripped," as it is called in the grooming profession, pre-existing conditions may appear. Kibbles and Clips will bring any pre-existing conditions uncovered to owner's attention but we will not be held responsible for treatment of said conditions.

Pet Care
For the best interest of the pets,Kibbles and Clips require that cats be seen a minimum of once a day and dogs twice a day.
For vacation visits, dogs must be seen a minimum of three times per day.
Dogs are usually let out in the morning, in the middle of the day, and before bed at the very least when the owner is home
A consistent routine will help prevent urinary tract or bladder infections. Infections may occur if your pet has to wait more than 8 hours to have a bathroom break.
The only exception is if the dog has access to the outdoors, either in a kennel, secure yard, or via a doggie door.
Kibbles and Clips will not job share while you are away. We want to be sure that we have complete responsibility for your pet, and will be monitoring how much he/she eats and drinks daily, as well as bathroom duties.
Kibbles and Clips require 2 sets of keys, one that is kept on our master key chain and another that is kept in a safe.
Keys should be tested to ensure they can lock and unlock the doors.
