How Our Service Works

This service is exclusively offered to our grooming clients.

When you call Kibbles and Clips, we arrange for a FREE  visit to your home to:

• meet you and your pets
• get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home
• get veterinary release signature
• pick up a door key
• complete a service agreement

During this visit, you decide how often you want us to visit each day and what services you want us to perform.

Each visit to your home includes:

Pet Care:

• LOTS OF TENDER LOVING CARE
• fresh food and water
• brushing, combing, exercising and playing with your pet 
• giving medications, vitamins, or other special care
• arranging for medical treatment in case of illness
• meticulous litter box maintenance
• indoor clean up of pet messes

Home Care:

• bringing in the mail and newspapers
• adjusting drapes and lights
• watering your indoor plants
• simple pool care such as adding chlorine
• bring trash to curb on trash day
• handling other minor household tasks as needed

Base Fees

Base rate is $25 per 30 minute visit. $2 per additional animal up to 4.

Holiday rate is an additional $5 charge per visit for New Years's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Hourly rate is $40 per hour and may be applied for multi pet households depending on each situation and will be determined at the initial consultation.

Reservations made more than 7 days in advance may require a 50% deposit.  Payment in full is due on first day of service.

Final quote of fees will be determined at the consultation visit depending on each situation.

Hours of Service

NOTE: We are unable to accommodate specific time requests for any visits.

DOGS: AM visits will be some time between 7AM and 10AM

PM visits will be some time between 1PM and 4PM

Night visits will be some time between 7PM and 10PM

NOTE: Dog visits will never be more than 12 hours apart.

CATS: Cats will be visited at the same times.

To Arrange for Service:

Please contact us as far in advance as possible. We suggest at least 2 week's notice but it is possible we may be able to accommodate last minute requests for service. You should note however that we book up fast during busy times.

Kibbles and Clips charges $25 per 30 minute visit.  That's minimal compared to most boarding facilities that charge full price for each animal.  If you only have one pet, there might not be a difference price wise between pet care and boarding. 

Most facilities, however, will charge a fee for extra play time or medication.  So, a boarding facility could quickly become more expensive than what you bargained for.  But what about those conveniences? 

Picture this, you are rushing to get out the door to get started on your trip, but wait!   You still have to wrestle the cat or the dog into the car, drive them to the boarding facility, and check them in.  Not to mention you have to pick them up when you get home.  If you are leaving or coming home during closed hours, you have to leave them there, and pay for, an extra day! 

Now, picture this, same scenario as you are rushing out the door, but this time, all you have to do is blow a kiss to your loved pet and tell them Kibbles and Clips will be there to check on them soon. 

Wow!  How easy was that?  True, you did have to have a meeting with us before hand, show us around, and fill out paper work.  But, once the initial meeting is done, and we have your key safely locked away in the lock box, setting up new visits is super easy.      
 
If that wasn't enough convenience for you, what about services?  When you hire us, not only will we take care of your pet for you, but your mail, your trash, your lights, your plants, security check ups, and any other little daily tasks that need to be done. 

So no need to make extra calls to get your mail stopped, your neighbors to water your plants and do home security checks, it's all done in one easy phone call.    
 
So, are you sold?  Most pets are truly happiest and most relaxed in their own homes. 

Will they be perfectly stress free?  Most likely no.  YOU are still gone.  But being in their own environment that they are used to will make them much more at ease.
